One of the hot favourites to go all the way in the World Cup 2011 final and Sri lanka are playing really good football of late and they will be looking to start the campaign on a high when they take on Canade in the Group Stages of the World Cup. Sri Lanka Captain Kumar Sangakara are playing really good cricket of late and they will be trying to get a win under their belt and get off to a flyer in the match. This is the opening match for the Sri Lankan Cricket team and they will be hoping to get a good result in this one while Canada will have reall tough time at their hands to contain Sri Lanka.
This match will be played under flood lights at the Mahinda Rajapaksha International Cricket Stadium, Sooriyawewa in Hambantota on Sunday 20 February 2011. This is a group A match and the teams playing in this one are very competive although On paper Sri Lanka are the favourites to win this match and go to the next round while Canda are a young teams mostly comprised of players form outside Canda, specialy from Sub Continent countries of Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
